VW Parts Possibilities of a ThingOmatic machine.

Ive been watching this machines develop when I heard on the radio that it now is ready for production. I can see radio knobs, horn buttons, on and on. The capacity so far is 5" x 5" x 5" and the material is like a "Lego" block (hard plastic) any color.

Those are extremely cool - great for one-off parts. If you want to make a bunch of something, though, I think it would be better to have a run made at a plastics place.

very cool, you can even get the "Frostruder" which works with any paste like substance, like frosting, silicone, etc.

Keep in mind though, the end result is very crude and far from making restoration parts Smile
