|
|
Hello, I did use the search function. My 82 camper has a small 12 volt factory accessory outlet to the left of the vent controls in the dashboard. I removed it for a project I am working on. I can drill a new hole and reinstall it, but don't know that it would ever get used. Is there a company making a "male" end for this factory accesory outlet? Thank you. _________________ ☮️ |

It's an odd European outlet. I think Bus Depot sells the plug. There have been other posts about it too. _________________ 89 Westy 2.1 Auto |

I think BMW motorcycle dealer can get you one, and I got one from local John Deere dealership
The John Deere part # on the package is RE11344
Its made by Bosch and has the Bosch part # 0 352 321 001

Or just put in a standard US socket since you have to drill a new hole anyway. Go Westy has them, I think Sesquhenna has them as well.

Been used since the 1950's or so. You can get new ones here and there. Look in the classifieds. I recall being able to buy them some where on line too. Not a US item and hence it seems odd to most of us. _________________ "Use the SEARCH, Luke" But first visit the Vanagon FAQ!

yep, if I'm not mistaken it's how my buddy plugs in his heated vest that he wears when it's cold. _________________ _________________________________
