I was going to run 205/70' on my '67, but after I added the CB Wide 5 disc kit, there was no way it was going work. I ended up going with 195/65's for now, until I swap in my short axles.

What size tires are in those pic (last one) ^?
I installed my Empi 5s with 205/70 out back and got instant extreme positive camber.
What is the best way to eliminate this? Of course it still needs to go down a click or two.
Would it help to run 195/70 or 195/65 or get short axels and keep the 205s. The rear lowering thread is not real helpful for this or for 67s or for understanding how "notch plates" work.

I'm using short axles, CB Wide 5 disc kit, and 195/65r15's. I'm going to try out some 205/65r15's I think. You might need to go down a click or two on the inner spline, or one outer. _________________ '67 Sunroof

thanks for all your replies!! and well, it's been over a year since I started this topic on dropping my 67 and.... i just got the beam cut, narrowed and re-welded.. forgot to put the inner carriers in for the springs but a hammer and pipe fixed that.
gonna post up some pics soon.. hope to finish this weekend.
I'm at the point where I can ditch my steering damper or reweld the bracket on.. anyone have issues not using it? 4" narrowed without shock towers |

I have short axles on mine with 205's and they have plenty of room. _________________ 1964 Type 1 Vert "Ruby"

I have a 67 vert that is lowered 2.75 inches in the rear. Will 17x7 brm wheels fit with 215/45/17 tires? |
