Hey, I picked this car up about a month ago from my buddy. He had it shipped up from North Carolina and it was shipped to that guy from Oregon somewhere. Anyone recognize it that could tell me the history on it?

thanks for any help you can provide!!

without flinching, say "I don't know Dad, what's the difference between Tom Jones and Sonny Bono?" He'll understand...

here is a picture of the car back when www.L5vw.com had it. I just recently found out that a buddy of mine in Sandpoint, ID might have been the one that found this car originally. I'll update once that info is true or not true.

Very nice! What are those colored things hooked on the channel above the door?

I have a gulf blue '62 also and I love the color. In the early morning its light blue, in the afternoon its very very blue and in the evening it turns a sort of grey blue. It looks like I have 3 different beetles depending on what time of the day it is Very Happy

We just confirmed that my good buddy cdennisg (Corey) out in Sandpoint, Idaho was the guy that pulled this car out of the bush. Corey grew up a few miles East of me here in Fargo and moved out to Idaho a while back. This is insane! The car was found back in 2006. He will come on and post his story on it here shortly....

pictures will be coming very soon....
