Interesting reading. I have seen a few hacks in my time, but this was an eye opener.
I still have a lingering question. What is a T2b? Late Type 4 powered Bay? Early Vanagon? Just trying to understand the euro/US lingo exchange. |
Late bay essentially. In the Australian market at least the type 4 motor was only an option, and 1600 was the standard motor. Also dual carb was around here when the U.S. had already gone to FI. _________________ Vehicle: 1975 Special order delivery walkthrough panel based pop-top camper (LCA / Sunliner). NOW I understand what you meant by your question t3 or type 3.
in the states, they are one and the same. nobody refers to anything on a bus here as t3. its either t2, or t4. end of story.
