Hey, those of you that have installed new oil pumps on your Things, what type did you use? and where did you find the best price?

I've been thinking about putting on a pump filter combo. I've got a friend with an old CB Proformance pumpfilter still in the box. I've also noticed aircooled.net has, what they call an original VW(I guess NOS) pump w/filter for $60.00. I haven't had this style pump before, so I am wonder a couple things. I've heard that most name brands of pumpw/filter only pump a small amount of oil, not all the oil that passes through the pump? Also, it looks like the filter is placed right next to the exhust and, it seems like that would increase oil temp? Just to throw in more for everyone to chew on. I'll get into asking about filters soon.
