I have a 74 westy, i just put the engine back in and hooked everything back up, i installed fuel lines to pump but am not getting any fuel to carbs. I am not getting any fuel out of the tank and i know there is gas in there. do they airlock or have to be bled or something. thanks for the help. |

since no one else has posted yet, I'd say have you swithced the lines around to make sure they are not reversed?
Pour a little fuel down each carb to start the engine? see if it takes off and starts pumping?
do you have a clear universal type fuel filter, I usually run one right under the tank and one in line to the carb(s), this way you can wsee what the fuel is doing... |

If the fuel pump is the same as a '73, yes they do air lock, there is a little nut on the pump, that you have to loosen a little and gass will leak out, when the gass leakes out tighten it and you should be ready to go. remember this applies to a '73 fuel pump i am not sure what the '74 has. good luck
