What Am i Missing

I have a 74 westy, i just put the engine back in and hooked everything back up, i installed fuel lines to pump but am not getting any fuel to carbs. I am not getting any fuel out of the tank and i know there is gas in there. do they airlock or have to be bled or something. thanks for the help.

since no one else has posted yet, I'd say have you swithced the lines around to make sure they are not reversed?

Pour a little fuel down each carb to start the engine? see if it takes off and starts pumping?

do you have a clear universal type fuel filter, I usually run one right under the tank and one in line to the carb(s), this way you can wsee what the fuel is doing...

If the fuel pump is the same as a '73, yes they do air lock, there is a little nut on the pump, that you have to loosen a little and gass will leak out, when the gass leakes out tighten it and you should be ready to go. remember this applies to a '73 fuel pump i am not sure what the '74 has. good luck

Got it figured out. i had the lines crossed and appaprently it was too late in the night and i was too tired to figure it out for myself. thanks.
