just bought weber progressive carb kit. i was looking through the bag of adapters and can't find the proper linkage for the throttle cable. is it missing or do i need to change the cable to fit the carb? anybody had this problem with their installation? do i just have my head up my ass? what kind of boost should i expect over my old 30 pict2?

I had to drill a hole in the fan housing about an inch higher on the same side the carb is on and feed the throttle cable tube to the original one on the other side of the fan housing. This points the throttle cable up toward the carb. The original cable should fit. Hope this helps.

I hate these carbs. some people like them but not me. I would sell that puppy and get a good pair of stock solex' and have them rebushed. the progressive has a really cheap intake manifold and bad icing problems.
