Engine Swap Out - Need Help!!

I am buying a 1970 van that has no engine, I can get a 1700 fuel injected engine serial # 004 101102 A Does anyone know if I will have any problems fitting it to this van?

Yea your gonna have all kinds of problems.the 70 has a type 1 based mtr. 72 was the first year for the 1700. Barry

Yeah, you need a 71 dual port 1600 with offset (doghouse) oil cooler,
70 came with 1600 single port and older cooling system originally, so if you have no engine at all, may as well uprgrade to that at least.
