I've seen a couple people are running these now. For a pair at around $500 they seem like a great option for getting a decent seat. can anyone comment on the comfort? driving for 4-5 hours no problem?

$500 seems to be a lot of money when you can get a pair of Miata seats off of C'List for less than $200. _________________ Thunderbug by Bugformance 1969 |

I haven't discounted other options yet. I want the new and shiny look, so if I can actually find miata seats up here in the Canadian arctic (Calgary) I'll probably need to have them upholstered and the cost could run up anyway. If it's only a few hundred difference, I'd rather have a nice suspension seat.
These are some of the seats I was looking at:

Wish I could find Mazda seats for $200. Lately they've been fetching $500+. I like some of those Rhino seats, but the site doesn't list their overall dimensions. |

ya, I'm making a big assumption that they fit, based on people saying they've used some (which ones I'm not sure). Maybe I can convince my brother in law to upgrade his rhino and he can give me his. _________________ 1969 Beetle (Sadie)

I have Race Trim UTV seats in mine. I bought the sliders too. Been happy with them. |

You can get Race Trim suspension seats for less than $250 each new (local shops are selling them for $179). They are copies of the Beard seats so they mount the same. They are also bigger than the UTV seats. _________________ "In any racing engine, the nearer you are to it disintegrating, the better it's performance will be"

I have Racetrim seats for a Rhino in my fiberglass buggy, have had them for about 2 years, and have been happy with them. The size is perfect for the buggy, fits fine between the tunnel and side of the body. I dont know where you are located, but I bought mine from Carcraft in Riverside, California. I think I paid around 175.00 each. |

I've got the beard seat, I love them, very comfortable. They are a little wide fit in a buggy, but I'm 6"2" 200+ so I need the extra room. Suspension style seats make a big difference, lower profile than conventional springs and a lot smoother ride if you have stiff suspension. |
