the video says alot, i bought these LEDs at dealextreme.com. they take awhile to get to your door, but they work GREAT! i also have a pretty decent stereo system that i stuffed under the rear bench seat, and i have solar panels on the roof powering all of the lights and music. i also have a marine battery under the rear bench seat as well.
enjoy! _________________ '89 Vanagon GL

theres some better ones on the site that just came out for equal prices on the site. the ebay controller is amazing and beats the other ones by far in price and quality.
the speakers are old polka computer speakers, but i wired 12+ volts to the bridge rectifier so there is no transformer to go through, and the amp that was originally wired for say 30 watts is doing wayyyyyy more, including powering a 2ohm amp!!!! and its plenty loud _________________ '89 Vanagon GL

That's pretty awesome...
I am looking at EL tape, in white, and Blue, and the RGB 5050 SMD strip with the 44 key pad..
Why even put a bulb back in there when there are so many cooler options |

pretty nifty. What size PV are you running and how long does the battery last with the stereo on? I'm looking to put a 300ah battery in to run some LED running and task lights as well as a sound system but I'm wondering if the battery will be large enough. Also why did you run through the bridge rectifier- it's DC to DC.
LEDs are definitely the way go if anyone is looking for the lowest price out there check out http://www.ledlightsworld.com/
Lowest prices and great service, I deal with them 3-4 times a month and have never had any quality issues or messed up orders. |
