| Do any of you guys put that rust-proofing stuff on? Is there a way to protect a vehical, especially on that is going to live in the northeast for a while. It seems that most rust topics are for after the fact. Should I move to Cali? |

Lots of folks in the NE take the VW's off the road for the witer, instead driving a more expendable beater vehicle. Otherwise, if you wash it regularly, especially the underside, you can keep the corrosive road salts fro getting too bad. Or else, yeah, move somewhere nice and warm.
