I don't know have the answer to your 'Who is the vanagon specialist in town' but I do have the name of someone who ripped me off from Austin on Vanagon parts - Some punk named Adam - used to have the screen name dirtyhippie - he advertised a new luk clutch kit here on the Samba, I paid him what he was asking plus shipping and he sent me a valeo clutch kit for daewoo? Go figure. Never resolved it, I even sent it back to him...never heard a peep out of him after that. Called his mom and she said 'oh no, again?'
'fing punk. I learned my lesson. I hope he learned his.

Welcome - we are in Carrollton (North Dallas) we also come down to Austin on occasion. We'll need to book a camping trip with others in the areas to tell lies, drink and tell more lies.
