In the 17 years I have been looking at them they have never been cheap. Every once in a while one comes up here that is reasonable, but they get bought pretty quickly. Keep looking in the classifieds here. Good luck! |

I looked around for a long time and just about gave up on finding one that was affordable. I was back from Iraq about a week. Me and my daughter were walking to the beach when my friend pulled up in his 73 Thing to give us ride then I seen the for sale sign in the glove box. It was destiny I had to buy it. He gave it to me for a real good price. That’s my story I guess what I’m saying is keep looking you will find one. But know what to look for there’s a lot of good information right here that can help. And there are some good deals in the classifieds

Lots of Things show up on eBay but you need to be pretty sharp about buying one. I bought one and it was OK. A little more rust than I had been led to believe but substantially as described. If you are an eBay novice, find someone who knows how it is done to help you out. There certainly is an element of risk unless you can hop a plane and go look at it. |

Germany is always a good place to look. Though it's a little far for most people. There's lots of things for sale in the Hessen region. I haven't been too far from here though. _________________ "That's not a halo, someone was playing ring toss with my horns." -Normal |
