1974 super with autostick
rebuilding engine and trying to clean up engine compartment
can I remove and discard the egr, plug the connections and have everything run ok. _________________ hippydog |

sure, just makesure there arn't any leaks, you might need a new manifold or fab a block off plate for it. And i believe a 14mm bolt will thread into the hole in the exaust. |

I removed mine 20 years ago.
The cleanest way is to get a 71-73 intake manifold center section without the EGR fitting. _________________ Glenn

But if you get a new manifold, make sure it's one for an autostick. The one for the manual bug doesn't have the connection for the vacuum hose.
I just went through the whole spiel of getting a pipe welded to it. _________________ Frank
