I'm trying to get a feel for different engines. If anybody has a 2.5 or larger Subaru, 1.8t, or Bostig Turbo and has their van around The kingman az to Vegas area I'd love to go for a quick ride to get a feel for the power these have. In the next few weeks we'll also be traveling from Vegas north along I-15 and then taking I-70 east to Denver and then back east from there.
Feel free to contact via PM
edit:
looks like we might detour thru SLC.

Your title (To folks with converted vans) doesn't get you the viewers that you need. Maybe edit your title something like this:

"Engine conversions in AZ area? - Can I drive it?"

Ft collins isn't that far out of your way. Swing by and check out the operation. We usually have a few converted vans around.

My van is in SLC Utah getting a 2.5 Subaru transplant at Metric Motors. I'll be picking it up around June 12th and will spend the following week in nothern Utah. After that I'll be driving back to Arizona. If you happen to be close by you're welcome to check things out.

I'm in SLC driving an '88 Wolfsburg with a 2001 EJ25. I love it. Sounds like you've already got offers for examples of that engine, but PM me if you haven't had your fix.

Just installed the Bostig Turbo in my Syncro Westy. You are more than welcome to take it for a spin if you are coming through Salt Lake City. John
