Does a Vertex mag require any outside power to fire? I ask because a friend of mine told me a story about coming back from a sand drag where he won a Vertex mag in a raffle, while he was driving home he reached in the back seat and picked up the mag to look at it, he said he was holding it between his legs in his crotch when he spun the drive gear!
he said he just pulled over to the side of the road and sat there untill he could feel he testicles again. I allways wondered if he was just feeding me a story or not, but it allways makes me laugh when I think about it.

ouch, that would hurt. yes magneto distributors create there own electrcity. no need for any outside electrical source for them to work.
