Did I spell this correctly? Anyway...Could someone give me a brief rundown on the circuitry of the switch terminals.
Cheers

The two missing are hot in and switched hot out and there is a little jumper from the hot switched to power the light in the switch. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.

OK Checked out my switch. I have 6 screw terminals, two paired 30A (the upper two in your pic), a 56H and 57P as the opposite paired terminals, an extra terminal at the knob end of the switch 58T, and one at the opposite end 56a (which seems a lighter construction - is this your jumper terminal?). Of course then there's the light terminal 31. Any clues as to the extra 58T terminal?

There are three jumpers. Is this the terminal you're wondering about? It is misleading as it appears to be the brass dot but it's not.
Im pretty sure t-58 is the ground to the switch/light. It starts here.
Then it goes around the side.
And terminates here at 56a, like you stated.
The light power is this little red jumper.
