Theres a build thread on it here;

But basically I cut the original beam to pieces and ended up with sections like this for both sides..

Then they were slipped over a 4inch narrowed balljoint beam..

I then just plated off the ends. TBH it was a hell of alot of work, but I'm happy with how it looks and it also means I can put and original beam back on if I want.
