Joe has been a great help not only in title aspects but shipping as well. I have never shipped a vehicle nor ever had any out of state titling issues. This has been a great learning experience and an adventure . Joe, thank you very much for all the help.

For future reference anyone trying to get the title in Ca and needs an inspection. Make sure you have a speedo, because the people at the DMV sometimes freak out when they have nothing to put down for mileage. |

And make sure the odo reads 7,500 or more, or they consider it "new" (regardless of year/age/etc) and will not title or reg. in CA. EVER (CARB blacklist). Please don't ask me how I know, don't want to re-live that deal. |

I have taken a bus to the folsom ca DMV on a Trailer with no rear suspension, no motor, just on a dolly in the rear. They came out inpected the vin, filled out a statement of facts and got a title 10 days later. Cali DMV is wierd. It is hit or miss with them. _________________ RUSTFARMER....I like anything old and rusty! |

With Ca. DMV its best to know the rules and regulations prior to going in to see them. Sometimes the clerk truly does not know what they are doing with older vehicles.
Read online forums as much as possible and even go to the DMV website is actually helpful. |

Well I'll end this saga. I got the title in the mail today from Cali. DMV. The PO submitted most/all (?) of paperwork and paid fees (?). I'm not sure, I wasn't there but the title is here. |
