Although most of my work is now being documented on LowBus.com I figured I'd started a thread here to keep non LowBus users in the loop.
Currently we are working on a '59 SC.
It's getting a Slam-O-Matic bolt in drop.
Front is done, rear is next.
Before
After

Thanks. I can't take credit for the install. I have people that help me out.

I was getting a lot of "where have you been? I don't see you posting on the samba anymore." emails and phone calls, so I figured this was an easy way to let people know what I have been up to. |

Yesterday the powder-coater came through with most of the suspension parts for my personal "at home after hours" '50 Hardtop project as well.
Time / other jobs permitting this may make it to the Treffen in Sept. It's not really far off now.
Bumpers and a few other misc. items will be picked up this weekend while I'm n So Cal.

For some reason this picture reminds me of Pulp Fiction.
Dig the thread, Greg, keep up the good work. |

That's a nice, clean looking beam! What's the added gusset on the passenger side for, though? _________________ 1967 Squareback |

That's where the Iron Cross plate bolts in place.
I've got the same beam set up on my 11G with a different colored / striped Iron Cross. - Thanks to Alex Juarez for those!

Speaking of the 11G.
After the Treffen more progress has been made on my "Super 25hp" engine.
a smooth case Pre A trans has been acquired.
and lastly, Willie Wilkes in PA came through with the restoration of my Telefunken!
