So I got the transmission somewhat bolted in with the Old Speed drop plates on. From the looks of it, this will be the ride height in the rear.

I finally found some Mexican blankets......on line. They were only $9.99 each from some yoga site. Probably cheaper than buying them local.
I also mounted one seat belt in the middle row for my kids. I will finish the other one tomorrow.

let me know if you want to borrow my hog ringer. You could make those blankets tuck and mount like seat covers. |

The bus is comming along nicely. The colors on the mexican blankets work really well with the stock interior. _________________ and take the kids for instance "Are we going in the Volkswagen bus?" and they say "Yay!" and clap their hands and if it's a glorious day you can slide the sunroof back and let a little of the glory in and all of a sudden, it stops looking funny.

Thanks Todd. Hopefully we can make a trip out to Glenwood Springs and visit you guys again. A nice fall trip would be fun.
I had a good day on the bus. I got the bumper deluxe trim polished. I used some Mothers Billet polish along with 000 steel wool. It worked great. Much better than the rouge and bench grinding wheel.
I also go the turn signals working. At this point, I think I have all of the electricals working correctly.
Next weekend I am hoping to have it back on the ground.
Also started the motor building. Hopeful to have some progress on Wednesday. |
