So, my neighbor backs into my 91 Westy and puts a large crack in plastic/fiberglass bumper, 2nd time he has hit one of our vehicles in past 3 years. Found a local guy (Sooke) who repaired crack in bumper, also re did my half ass crack fix on another crack and fixed a few other imperfections, awesome job looks brand new, only asks for $100, I give him $140 as neighbor is paying and he looks like he could use the money. If anyone in Victoria area needs some work done like this send me a PM.

Wish ya'll were closer. I could hand him several jobs. I've never tried my hand at fibreglass repair...probably should

its pretty easy, I dremeled cross hatches in the crack and sanded and put fibers in the channel I dremeled and then you layer some fibers on top...finish with duraglass.

looks new, this was on a manx body but same thing here....its pretty smelly but super easy.

but for $100, I wouldn't do it myself...good deal.

Maybe it's time to start going through ICBC to pay for the repairs... that might convince your neighbour to watch where he's going... Laughing
