Im going to show you the work im doing in my 60DC, is the first time i try to do something like this by myself, and im not a good welder, but i think is not that bad. Here in my country this kind of truck is not common, and this is the only one i've seen, thats the reason im working on it. I started working in march, and finally i can see some progress.

Does this mean that we can't tell the rookies that 'you cant remove a bus from its pan/frame' anymore?
Dedication... pure dedication... many on this site would have parted that DC out faster that they could have farted. Kinda gives credence to the the jovial statements that some make while speaking of Gerson... "anything can be saved now that he's poppin' panels of all sorts."
Impressive work there aitor11. _________________

Thank you guys, like Gerson say is not cheap, but you know i really enjoy this kind of work and im learning a lot in the process, lots of people here prefer to spend millions of Bolivares and buy a hiliux, or some crazy toyota, i like volkswagens and the fact that is almost imposible to see another like it . There are more pictures in the facebook i keep for my friends living far from here, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Volkswagen-DOKA-1960/100652333363858.
About the bondo, is a crazy thing here, it seems that people think that more bondo equals a better job, shame on them.

That's what I'm talking about! Crazy good work. I will be watching this thread. _________________ BarryL wrote:

Work has been slow this days, i had an accident last week and my right arm and chest were a little bit in pain, but today i finally did something, the bed is finally where its suposed to be and ready to go! and i got a bulkhead, i know is different cause it came from a brazilian split/bay but im sure it will work, so what diferences can you spot from the picture, (i know the bottom is different) to see if i can fix some of them! Thanks.
