That looks very familiar. Is that middle of nowhere north of Guerrero Negro? If so, I think I've camped there in my Westy.

Fishing started slow at Sylvan, until we figured out wading w/flies was the bomb. My 12 yo son learned to fly fish on the trip, taught by his grandfather ( a Jedi fly fisherman and fly tyer), and landed 17 trout in the few days he was able to fish. That is my favorite State Park in Colorado-we go there almost every summer. _________________ '85 Westy Wolfsburg camper/2002 2.5 Subaru since 2003.

This lake is less than an hour from home, a perfect place for those last minute single night camping trips.

Trip from Miami to Nova Scotia with new bostig. This place was in St. Martins N.B. You can walk out on to the sea floor during low tide like it was in the picture.

Yeah thats the spot, really cool rock windbreaks at the campsite.
As for the windows they were custom from a company out of vancouver i think that specialized in campers. It was when the van was brand new so thats about all i can tell you. I like them though. |

Been working the bugs out of our van for a year and a half.
Got rid of ...
Air in the fuel supply, coolant probs, electrical gremlins, a family of mice -- pulled backseat and cabinets to remove a stinky mouse carcass. While I had everything removed, I treated the kitchen rust. New fluids, belts, hoses, parts, etc. Van is running really good now.
Did most of the work myself by reading here.
Thanks for sharing the knowlege.
This was us last weekend.
One more pic of the van not by a river or lake, but just so yall can see it in the daylight.

Same island (Ruegen), other place: waiting for the ferry to cross a bay...
Pop top: it´s one of the rare SCA 500 (close to Carthago´s ones). Those kind of pop tops are highly coveted and as a result of that and the fact there have been just four companies which produced them, that are very expensive But, it´s the best combination and i´m very glad to have it
Got a tread here of installing the pop top on my van:

Went for a one nighter and two amazing paddles. It's on the eastern shore of Nova Scotia. Murphy's Campground.
