will M&H DOT tires fit ghia

Before I buy a set of the new M&H D.O.T slicks does anybody know if they will fit on a ghia? My rear suspension is at stock height and I will mount the tires on Porsche 914 Fuchs alloy wheels.

Where are you in Oklahoma? I am in Norman out by Lake T-Bird.

To answer your question, measure the width of the stick tires and figure no wider than 2 inches more. I could be wrong, but I remember having radials on my 1964 that were wider than the stock bias-ply tires.
