I was wondering how many third brake light buses are still out there.

none from the factory. There are lots of cool buses out there though with 3 brake lights. _________________ It's not how wide your hatch is, it's what you do with it.

That is my former 57 standard that I sold almost exactly one year ago. I think I sent those plates with the new owner. They had stickers from 1971 in place, the last year that bus had been registered.

57 single cab (what's left anyway)
taken off the road in 67 because of rust
hauling fertilizer isn't a good thing for a car

Nope. Sold it and the front (pair of bice) long ago. I really despise those things on anything but a truck. That bus had original paint PG/SG bumpers when it left my driveway for the last time. _________________ nothing |

Agreed. The rear looks OK, and functions well. The front is another story.
A question for the OP, were you looking for buses with brakelight decklids, or buses with brakelight decklids that also run a later turn signal switch or other mod to allow three brakelights? That mod is a good one, and one that I plan to utilize on my 57 kombi in the near future, just need to find that thread again as I did not bookmark it. _________________ nothing |

I am looking for buses with brake light deck lids like mine will have again.( they replaced it with one from the sixties) |
