I hope I can do that. I'm going to need to at least do some brake work, fix my king pins, and replace my front tires if I'm going to drive my bus. Also I guess I'd need a set of chains. I could probably car pool with someone, but I don't know if I'd want to sleep in a tent in February . Anyone want to donate some good kingpin assemblies to the poor? (or sell cheap) |

Well, bummer, looks like I'm not going to be able to make it. Tim can't go and it turns out I have to do some work this weekend. I'm unemployed so have to take what work I can. There's always next year, right? |
Damn Greg, was hoping to hang out with you and a bunch of cool people not like half of those Mendo snob ass fucktards*. You and your dad are easily the coolest of the bunch, glad we're friends!
* Reference is to a group of series Land Rover enthusiasts, half of which are top notch guys the other half are as described above. This is my opinion of course, I can substantiate my claims with first hand observations. I am no longer a member of their group.

BTW, You guys better watch out. This dude's from Oregon, and the cops didn't take too kindly to his guns and general attitude.

If the cops pull me over on the way to Hull Mtn. and somehow come up with a search warrant they will find;
Several rifles and pistols (unloaded, thanks!)
a couple thousand rounds of ammo
two books, "The Most Beautiful Woman in Town" by Charles Bukowski and "Kennedy and Roosevelt, the Uneasy Alliance" by Michael R. Beschloss.
Meat, bread, and cheese.
Lots of beer.
Profile THAT. |

And all that packed into a "hippy bus". You're screwed! I'll volunteer to be your one phone call right now, E! _________________ Riding with Surf City had me thinking "F'n Piercy" was your real name. |

After spending minute of the last 2 1/2 months and every dollar I had moving my shop, then crashing hard enough to not be able to work on my own bus, I'm driving up there in my Honda Element (again.) The crewcab is about 8 hours away from driving, sitting in my shop registered and insured. Just couldn't find the room, time, and back to do it.
Oh well, at least I'm going. Looking forward to some serious gun safety and shooting lessons for the kids. And some afternoon reading and relaxing. No motorcycles just yet for me, hoping to at least ride my bike again by mid November.
I've had 4 days off in the last 3 months, beginning to wear on me. |

Thanks for the kind words, Eric. I was also hoping to see you there too(and your awesome dog), it's been a while! My dad actually dropped off the list due to some political rants on the list by Charles (the biggest fucktard on the list). |

Ok, looks like Johny O and I will be driving up tonight -he's meeting me at my work in Novato. Not sure what route we'll take, but if we do it right, it'll be adventurous. Hope to see some of you guys at the camp fire tonight. |

I've been red tagged by the doctor. Ankle and knee brace, arm sling, the works. Got scolded for not coming in sooner. Bummed I can't make it today. |

I'm kinda' beat still, but it was a great trip for me, and largely because fat cats Lance and Johnny had the cajones to motor up the mountain with me on Sunday. We saw hundreds of hunters and rolled some super fast mountain top dirt roads, but I'm sorry to say I didn't take any pictures. More from the the other cats... |
