Hi everyone!

I have a set of Euro spec Vanagon H4 headlights. Can these be made to fit a US spec bay? Any hints would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Alex

If you already have the H4s why not just try and put them in. If they don`t fit, which I think they will, you can always just put your original back in . You don`t even have to do both. You may need the hardware from inside the Vanagon head lite bucket though.

They dont pop right in because of the mounting tabs on them. They are the round units and I took them out of a Vanagon to convert my US Bay to European spec because I just moved back to Europe and took my bus with me Smile.

Just wanted to see if anyone ran into the same problems before.

The 7" round headlights sold in the US are for the most part universal fit, even if you buy euro spec lensed ones. I actually pulled a set of euro spec H4s from a Vanagon and installed them in a bus. They fit just like stock.

I wonder if some Vanagons in europe got a different headlight setup. I know some GTIs came with some round headlights that are quite a bit bigger than standard 7".

Stoner A is cylinders #2/4 B is #1/3 The plugged bowl is the throttle, the bong is the manifold
