I have found these pics, taken by KM Hahn, of the Elvis buggy at Graceland - I always assumed it was the yellow one he used in the movie 'Live a little, love a little?'. Does anyone have any better pics of this black buggy?

The yellow/orange one in the movie had a smooth hood. The black one in the museum has a ridge down the center of the hood.

Looks like a Halibrand or a copy, maybe a Magster. Course he had the money, they might actually be Halibrands

Hey BL3,
I didn't recall any Halibrand model that looked like these? Not that I'm an expert on vintage Halibrands or anything - so Google search...
Yes the Magster you showed is pretty close, with a modern version available from Cragar - the Eliminator:
Not quite the same wheel, but after browsing some vintage hot-rod wheel sites I found it. Has to be one of the following wheels, either the Indy 500 Speed Wheel:
Or the Drag Mag:
Both cool looking wheels - perfect for a buggy! Now I want me some! LOL _________________ 70's vintage Deserter GS buggy - undergoing transformation to Super GS! |

In one picture, it looks like the spokes are cut out on the Elvis car. Also there is very little "step" between the rim and the center. I'm going to guess its the Drag Mag. |

Wish I had a project for them Jerry, but the Deserter is taking all my resources! (and it already has wheels) Any specs on your Drag Mag wheels? From reading it looks like they only made a limited number of sizes in that style?

By the front bumper and the hood ridge it seems this body may be a Glitterbug |

The wheels have a 5" x 4 1/2" bolt circle and are 7" x 14". They have a set of L60-14 Mickey Thompson tires mounted on them. _________________ Jerry...
