lol. The pan will have no halves, the tunnel shorten six inches, narrowed six inches in the rear, raised torsion housing three inches (trans raised one). Front beam narrowed six inches as well (two inch dropped spindles). It's not a kit car nor will it be used for a bug body. You'll have to keep coming back to check my progress!

Tell me your making a vw quad ! Ive seen pics of two before and have wanted to make one for fun with crap I have laying around.

I made a little progress this weekend.
The six inches I cut out of the tunnel.

In this photo its only butted up to the tunnel (not squared yet) so when its done it will have the same gussets on the top as it does on the bottom!!

And not a Vee.

I straped it down on the table and used more straps to keep it square.

Not a Golf, its from another foreign auto maker though (50's through the 60's). I can't give any hints because everyone is so dam smart! I'll start on the body soon!!
