Was this bus at the Vintage Meet? If so, I'm sorry I missed it.
One point to mention. I think you're going to dislike having those dual mufflers scraping out back. A custom hideaway would be the way to go. I sold a complete setup including flanged heater boxes to match the exhaust for $50 on Saturday. It would have been perfect for your bus. _________________ nothing |

what did you do on fixing the "window" that was cut into teh side? donor bus, or just flat metal with a bend?
how hard was it to weld in without warping? _________________ proud owner of a defunct 1979 sunroof kombi

i had cut up another panel many years ago and i saved alot of donor metal from it
as far as the welding i just did small welds every 6" around the opening _________________ '60 15 window walkthrough

it was suppose to be at vintage but i had a little issue with the trailer
and it's not roadworthy yet so i couldn't drive it there
the mufflers are just temp. i am going to make some later on _________________ '60 15 window walkthrough

had to pull the beam out to fix some things so i thought i would raise the center pin while it was out
since it's narrowed 4 1/2" the shocks didn't line up so i made a bracket for them
it's first road test
finally after almost ten years it is drivable
