I am wondering if there is a weight limit on the upper bed of my 76 Westy- can my wife and I sleep up there, or is it more for the lower weights of kids? |

Let's just say I've had some fat chicks in the top bunk of my Westy and I myself am not a small guy, I'm about 6'4" 290 lbs. I've done all sortsa crazy things up there....none of which I can speak of here....but I haven't come crashing down yet! I did build an extension for the bed cause I always was dropping my pillows off the edge over night and it's a huge PITA to get down and get em....made an extension for the bed that is removeable, filled it with foam and fluffy stuff and covered it with nice soft fleece...works awesome! |

It's plywood so knock yourself out. I would inspect the condition of the plywood though. The sides can mold and rot from being so close to the outside, especially if you have no poptop seal.
It's only 6 ft. in length and 3' 10" wide which is the bigger problem for sleeping two adults... |
