Thing with Gene Berg Extractor Exhaust Header?

Does anyone have a Thing with a Gene Berg GB-913, GB-914 extractor exhaust?

The Berg thing header has the collector mounted higher than the Beetle header and might just fit my Beetle with a Trailer hitch. I'll have to cut a notch in the rear apron of the Beetle for the collector and make a custom muffler arrangement.

I need some dimentions of the header mounted on an engine to determine if this will fit.

Gene Berg is out of stock until they find a US manufacturer for their exhausts and don't have any headers handy to measure for me.

I'd really appreciate some help.

It looks like this Thing header will fit my Beetle and clear the trailer hitch with only minor modifications.
