Don't quote me on this, but I am going to guess that it is right where the line bends in front of the tranny. I hate that area, just take your time. Then, I may have it wrong depending on how far you have pulled it out so far. Get under the car after you have measured how much you have pulled out and follow the tube in which the cable runs. Yes, may require getting dirty here but if it helps solve the problem go for it.

You are right, it almost always gets stuck where the bowden tube meets the metal tube from the car. Pull it till it gets stuck, get under the car and guide it into the hole.

I went under the car and it does seem that is it caught right before the tube goes above or alongside the tranny along with the accelr. cable. I cannot even see the clutch cable anymore. I hear it but I cannot see it and when we pull on it..it seems the cable is stuck somewhere. It is hard as hell trying to pull from the little that is out inside the car. Any suggesstions?
