35.5 X 33mm valves in a Mexican cylinder head?

Can I install a set of 35.5mm(intake) X 33mm(exhaust) valves in a mexican head (043 101 375 ) for a 1600cc stock beatle? Could improve the flow in the head? or I could ruin it? The mexican head has 33 X30 valves.

probably.check the od of the seats.if done with the proper raidi valve job it will up the velosity&flow.you may need to unshroud the valves in the chamber too.

You could, but what are the ports cast like? do you have a 35x32 dual port head to compare them to? Will you be installing larger seats?
