Awesome news! Welcome to the oven of America (they'll be turning it on broil in just a couple months.)
So this seriously calls for an AZ get together in your neck of the woods.
Joseph, is that meet only for Flagstaffers? |

We should plan a Vanagon-only campout in the future. _________________ ~Kamz

This is ONLY a dream at this stage but I have mentionned it to someone already. IF, and IF is emphasized, my hope to be trip 'down east' for 3 to 4 mths this summer and fall works out decently then I am 'considering' heading down to Arizona and other parts for our 'winter'. My goal would be AZ's big meet and maybe even ultimately get to one of the big Syncro meets. It's just a thought at this stage BUT
wow to actually go to AZ and meet the entire aswah clan? Then I'd have to some how find out where they are going camping and just happen to drop in on them. I mean aswah your still driving a 2WD right, you couldn't really go places I couldn't go. WOW now my dream has imagined smells and lots of colors!! _________________ '09 2.5L Jetta 5 cylinder, 5 spd, super turbo, see thread in H2O Cooled Jetta, etc...

I usually cannot join in reindeer games as I always work weekends. Weekdays are good for me. I love oak creek canyon in the middle of the week! _________________ 1987 syncro westy tin top sun roof , GW2.3, rear locker, decoupler, Gary Lee tire rack & winch mount, lift, south african grill, big brakes , rhein alloy ,15 BFG AT, Fiamma 10 foot awning ,140 watt rear 85 watt front solar , mppt, truckfridge, automatic fire extinguishing system, tencent oil cooler, And a RMW SS exhaust! - 1971 bug convertible 1776 engine- 2010 Subaru turbo - 1993 Toyota 4x4 truck - 1999 Harley 95 CI, big bore, Andrews cams . I like Matsumoto - far more talented than the rest of them.
Chef - congrats on the new digs. Its an alluring beast - the kitchens. When your in them, you wish you were out. But get out and all you want is back in. Enjoy the ride.

AAAAA! I'm so flippin excited you're moving here!!
We go camping in Sedona all the time, it's so easy to get to from Phx. Be prepared, I'm going to take so many photos of your van, and eat your food, and spaz out. I'm super psyched!
You're going to love the land here. Here are just a few of the pictures of our recent Sedona camping trips:

Plus we will need to get pictures of your van meeting Walter, the world's largest bus, who lives in Phoenix and attends all the big VW events (plus his owner has hella-amazing Halloween parties in his giant art studio!)

Aswah,
Be careful with your drive; we've got about 1.5' of snow right now and it is still coming down. I don't know how Sedona is going as far as weather, but you'll probably have some down there.
Travel safe! |

There are some people on this board that you can tell
by their posts/replies that they are good people and well
deserving of having good things happen for them. Aswah
you are one of them. I wish you well with the new job and
move. I would personally be a nevous wreck with all the
changes but yet very excited at the same time. _________________ Bill M
