I am about six blocks from state line (in KC MO) does that count? I have 84 and 82 vanagons. Is there going to be any big KS shows this year?

I saw what looked at a glance to be an 89' "Bluestar" around 63rd and Wornall today. Great looking van, curious if the person is a SAMBA member.

I am in Manhattan Ks. I just got my '85 Vanagon. It is missing a few things, needs a little love, but all around in great condition. New to this site, but hope to post more as my experiences come. I already replaced a coolant hose. That was fun... Once I figure out how to post pictures on here, I will.

KCMO as well!! Waldo area 79th and Wornall. Just bought my Vanagon this year. It was sitting for three years. Significant fuel leaks, oil leaks, brakes dont work, rusted out muffler. Got all the new fuel lines in, new filters, new plugs, got a master cylinder and some cooling components on the way.

I'd like to find some of these at scrap yards around town. Anyone know anything? Also, if anyone wants to have a work party, needs help, or would like to offer help, let me know. I'm still learning, and would love to help others.

How funny, my brother-in-law and i were driving down nall today and i saw this in your driveway getting a safelite windshield installed. My brother-in-law said when he got his '90 carat painted 2 months ago, the guys at the paint shop said they just painted an orange one.. must have been yours. If you need some help, dont hesitate to ask.. I've done about everything on these.

There is a '84 1.9 automatic at the Liberty U-pull it right now.. just a passenger van tho

I just re-read your post.. I guess I didn't see your van.. The one I saw was at 97th and Nall.. Aircooled Assuan color. Oh well. I need to meet that guy too.

Just did a quick polish with what I had. I still plan on taking to Eliot to have it professionally done. (There are a few swirls in the paint now. I must have managed to get the buffing pad dirty...)
