OK, first the backgroung. Shooting laquer on my bug, finished last coat of clear and while I'm picking up, I backed into the panel behind the drivers door. As if that wasn't enough, I had a paper towel in my pocket! Now I have a fuzzy bluejean print of my butt on the panel with paper stuck in it as well. Any suggestions as to what to do to fix it? I know I can wait for it to dry and sand it down and redo it, but if there's a better fix i want to know.

First off, why are you shooting laquer? That stuff is pure garbage.
Anyways, let it dry and then sand it with some 1500 grit wet/sand paper and try to get it out. If you can, great! Then just buff it and your good.
Worst thing, if it doesn't come out, then just wet sand the panel and reshoot it. It's laquer, it dries in a few hours. |
