Got some goodies from the powdercoater today. Everything looks great, They did paint the wipers, engine support bar and gate hardware silver which were suppose to be black. I am going to leave the support bar but have the wipers and gate hardware resprayed black. That is unless I really like the way the silver gate hardware and wipers look again the slate blue exterior. I am going to have my wheels and a few other items powderocated in the coming weeks so I will try to make up my mind on the wipers and gate hardware, Rocky is currently working on the motor so I am getting excited to see my new 2.2 WBX.

Well bodywork is mostly complete. I am gong to shoot some primer and go over the car one more time to pick up any imperfections I may have missed before I spray the sealer. I am opening a new collision shop so things have been busy around here with that venture. My new paint booth is almost ready and I will be spraying the doka back to its original slate blue. I will be spraying PPG envirobase (waterborne) most likely as our new shop is setup for it. Depending on how well the waterborne works for us if there is any doubt I will use the PPG deltron line as an alternative. I received the engine from Rocky and he did a fantastic job. I can wait to get it installed. Still a ways to go but the project is moving along again.
