OK, so I checked my steering wheel and it is the correct part number: 211-415-655 B
So, now it can be only a few other things:
1. the steering column could be the wrong one. Although it is the original steering column, I believe, since the tamper proof casing bolt was not drilled out when I got the bus.
2. it could somehow be the wrong spring and/or support ring. Although I don't know how much this would change the issue.
The steering wheel is not secure unless it is completely seated on the end of the column. And when it is completely seated, The top of the column sticks up like in the first photos posted here. _________________ "The large print giveth and the small print taketh away."
