I just wanted to mention , to anyone considering having Gary Berg do any work for them , that they are in very good company . You have found the right guy to build your motor or tranz. or do carb. work . Gary does not cut corners at all ,,, and will only use the best parts . He is not for you guys that insist on using parts that do not match up . He is easy to understand , his experience is only held by a few builders today . Gary does what he says ,, he is always available via the phone or e mail . He has access to the best machine shop relating to VW's . ,,, Gary built my 5 speed , and also my 2275 motor . He was there for the initial start-up ,, and held my hand through-out the entire break-in period . He went through my Webers , and jetted them perfectly . Gary has become a good friend ,, it is a rare thing to have this good of a relationship with someone who was a perfect stranger only a year ago .
