I've got one of these that I plan on using on the square. I hope to get Pedro to make the gutter clamps for me to convert it from beetle. It's made by Carback.

Yes. It has a ladder that hangs off the platform and goes down to a wood platform supported by the bumper brackets. There's a 'change room' off the back of it which is a 3' square enclosure. Pretty cool rig.

Found this in a 1972 Camper brochure a few years ago, the bus tent was officially sanctioned for use in Type 3's by VW in the dealer brochures ....

I am still pissed off that I did no bought this as it was for sale and the guy only wanted around 200€ for it in 2009
