I didn't know where to post this so I will post it here because it is so damn long.
You ever have one of those niches that just piss you off? Well, I have a little problem. I took my Window crank off my door a while back when replacing the window rubber. I got the crank off and the "omega clip" shot god knows where in my garage. My dream is that someone out there has one of these OMEGA CLIPS sitting around and would like to possibly sell it to me. I have searched far and wide. I went to a show recently and could not find one(Well, I did but I don't think this clip is worth $15.00). I also tried the Universal Omega Clips that they sell at NAPA(they really are not universal at all). As of now my crank falls off my door everytime I get in and out of the car. I would love it if someone could give me a lead as to where to get one of these clips or even send me one. I will be sure to send you a couple of bucks and you will have done a good deed for the day. If you do have any leads, or if you happen to be a lucky person and have one of these clips that you would like to get rid of please post or email me at([email protected]). Thanks
nik

Have you tried your local auto parts place? They call them circlips over here in the UK. You can get whole boxes of assorted sizes for a few pounds.

I may have one or two in some Type 3 parts cars laying around. Email me and tell me where you're at, and I'll see what I have.

Tramandbixrule-You have mail.
Justbuggin-My local auto paerts store is NAPA. The clips I got from them were to thick to fit onto the crank. I am guessing that the clips that they sold me are for american cars only.
Thanks for the replys

Mine has a hole with a pin through it. I've been looking and can't find one like it anywhere. Any suggestions?

That seems to be the most common one that I find as well. My handle looks just like those but it is a little wider and still has the ivory knob. I am wondering if it is for a specific year?

Nik- I'll look tomorrow. I'm swamped at work so don't be shy about keeping on my tail. I know that 66- 67 Type 3s have 'em. Probably around that vintage of Beetle, too.
