why?
and dangerous too. a metal band saw,,, ouch.
the stock belt runs to over 5000 rpm with out slipping,.
what are you doing.?

Nice belt reminds me of the old style aluminum beer top s where youtwist the end on the others ring and so on..

I've cut my self on the rubber belt messing around in the engine bay, so I'd end up chopping my fingers off...

If the belt is steel and the pulleys are nylon, wouldn't the belt cut into and wear down the pulleys?

I can think of better ways to spend $311.57 +shipping from the UK on my bug.

Anyways; how many miles are you up too now?
