My '65 standard left WA bound for FL last evening on an 18 wheeler. She's blue and white. If you see it lemme know!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed it arrives safely.

Here's a pic before it left the PO's house...

If you're in Cocoa, it'll likely go down 95. I'm off 75 so it won't pass by me Sad . I love to see what cars are on carriers whenever I'm on the road. An old VW would be an eye-catcher Very Happy

Thanks. Yeah, I imagine the truck will come across the states diagonally until it can hop on I-10 then down I-95.

Apparently it's traveling along side a Model T pick up so that might be easier to spot on the trailer!

Can't wait to get her registered and on the road...I'll post up a few pics when it arrives.

Let us know who the transport was, and if you would recommend...

Yeah, that's my plan. I plan on taking the day or afternoon off work when it comes and getting video and photos of the unloading for insurance purposes.

Honestly, I wasn't too wild about the trucking company that got the job as I researched them a little and found they were not a member of the BBB and I found a few complaints against them on Transportreviews.com (minor stuff mostly) but the PO said he got to chatting with the driver and apparently he is a VW fan and commented on how nice the bus was and all. Anyway, not much I can do about it now so I'll just wait and see. Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised.

Anyway, I'll hold off on naming the trucking Co. until after I get my bus and see if they did good or not.

I'll definitely keep my eye out. I live in Melbourne and have a blue and white splittie too. I cruise cocoa, cocoa beach and the surrounding so i hope to see it when it arrives.

That's cool Turbo. I haven't seen another blue and white one around. There's an orange and white and a grey and white one I've seen around here and there.

If I see you around I'll wave you down...I'll be the tatooed lunatic, no worries, I'm harmless. Very Happy

If someone were to see it, it would probably look like this.....I saw this one in Vidalia, GA on a business trip. Sorry if I made your heart skip with the pic.

well, it does look like an 18 wheeler if you count the wheels on the truck, the trailer, and the 2 vehicle on the trailer...

Well the bus arrived this afternoon. I'll post more info in the shipping thread but all in all I was pretty pleased with everything.

I'll also start another thread for my bus when I get pics downloaded.
