So i'm starting the restore on my '74. I know that i can't get the pieces for the rebound bumpers, but I'm planning on switching to the other kind anyways. I'm just a little confused on what pieces of sheet metal to buy to replace these rear "wings." I know i need a rear apron, but i see that most places sell bumper brackets as well as "rear quarters." Which do i need to replace these?

You can see the rust in this one.

Somebody patched this one long ago, you can see the bondo swirl.

Don't everyone jump at once to answer this! I'm hoping to place a significant order at CIP while they're sill having their 20% off + Free shipping sale.

You did say you wanted the older bumpers so this should do it.
But obviously you need the other side too. And maybe a little further up.

So that looks like the lower most part, but what about farther up? Should i just patch the with regular metal? Does that patch piece cover the inner part as well?

Does that piece that has the bumper bracket also include the part where the engine side sheet metal attaches to?
