Has anyone here had a successful recent online transaction with LanD Products?

I placed an online order on August 23, 2007 for a small group of machined parts totaling $320. The parts, plus additional shipping charges, were paid for via the only method available on the site—Paypal. I received immediate email notification that the order was received and being processed. The site carries no physical company address or contact info other than email addresses, so that was the only route I could take to check on the order after a generous wait. After multiple emails went unreturned—I received an apologetic message from Darren on October 4 stating that my order would be shipped by 10/12/07.

Unfortunately, I’m still waiting for the parts and/or a reply to any of my emails. I had high hopes for these guys as a source for quality custom machined items, but this has been a disappointing waste of time and money.

A little background here;
The parts are shipped as of 1/03/08. A refund was offered and declined as the parts were not available from anybody else. These parts were basically one offs that took a huge amount of time. Obviously there is an E-mail glitch somewhere as numerous were sent. We are adding more contact info for this reason. We're sure you will be happy when the package arrives, there are some extra goodies in there for the hassle.

I was about to say, if you are dealing with Darren, Lanny, Geoff, or any other DVKK guys, you have no worries.
(Unless, of course, they are being sent via the Chicken Shack...)

I bought a Tach mount from them and quality of it is great and it was shipped fast too. Also, friendly people to deal with.

The parts just arrived and everything is in good order. A bonus for my wait was included which was a nice gesture-- thanks to LanD Products for coming through. The craftsmanship is excellent, making me think these products are priced too low.

On 12/03/2009 I decided to order the center caps for the Flat4 Enkei wheels from Landproducts. (payed the same day with paypal)

Until now I've never heard anything about it.

On the website the order (n° 176) is still pending.
I've send at least 4 mails (email and thru the contact page), but never get an answer.

I ordered a hinge kit a bout a week and a half ago ,paid with Paypal that day.Still no word from LanD Products.I understand possably shipping the products out yet ,but could aleast comunicate that you recieved payment ,ect.

Got a responce from Darren via Paypal. Was out of product at the time order was place.A simple email would have solved the issue.

After 7+weeks, more frustration and BS than I needed, 5 unanswered and unreturned phone calls, numerous unanswered E-Mails, I FINALLY got my money back from Darren Dilley by filing a claim with PayPal. If this is the kind of business transaction others want, then dealing with Darren Dilley might be for you. As for me.......NEVER again.

I have tried also to contact him . I did receive a reply that he had in stock what I wanted . But now when it comes time send the payment . No further contact or follow up .!! I think he has gone the way of BFY . To much negative feedback for me . Its not worth it . Plus he has taken down all ads and his website is incomplete . OH well another SAMBA Seller has fallen from grace . Confused

I have bought things from Darren in
the past without any problems. But
this time around sucks ! I sent money
for the Hinge plate set threw pay pal over
a month ago . Land Products got the money
but all I get is the run around and now
now even that? Darren contacted me over
two weeks ago after countless emails and
calls and said sorry I was not sure what you
bought ? Because you pay pay payment
Did not have a description of what you were
buying . He then said now that I know what
you want I'll send it right out. First off I always
write a description and that was over two weeks
ago. What went wrong now the pen you use to
put the address on the box broke or did the dog
eat hinge plate kit I payed for over a month
ago? Please someone have a phone or email
that they will answer?
