Just got back from a short road trip. I have been scoping out a bay today. The vin decoder that I used shows it as a 71 kombi. It has the Westy interior but hard top. No motor and plenty of rocker rust. I offered a couple hundred. Might also trade some mechanical labor. Either way, it found me. |

Don't they all? I have a shite load of wasps around here, and they keep getting into all of the parts buses, and then I keep killing them, and then they start over. _________________ "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." Albert Einstein

Looks fairly decent other then the nose section. I am shocked that the dash top is not cracked. That is a miracle by itself. _________________ "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." Albert Einstein

May wait for cooler weather so they are a little more dormant or better yet dead. Wife is in on project and that is good. |

The old man drove it for years so the title should be there. |

Looky where it is now. After purchase I spent nearly 400 hours touching everything. Not afraid to drive it anywhere. Recently I installed an electronic ignition. In past 1500 miles it doesn't use any oil, gets awesome mileage, and provides me with lots of waves and smiles.

Funny that you ask. At the sho I opened the deck lid and someone said, you goy hornets in there. A nest from years gone by had fallen down from near the rear upoer body vents.LOL Glad it didn't make it onyo the fan. _________________ 1971 Tin Top Westy Campmobile 70 |

Thanks guys, it has been for fun, camping , and just plain old mental therapy. On days that it sits in the garage my cooler turned fridge by means of a donor mini fridge keeps beer below 40° and also functions as my ebay selling office.✌✌ _________________ 1971 Tin Top Westy Campmobile 70 |
