The good:
quick communications and a quick shipper
The bad:
packaging left a lot to be desired, duct tape and the heads almost busted out of the boxes.
also item wasn't as advertised
The facts, last week I bought some type 4 heads from mr young. His ad stated no cracks in the heads. I also asked him via email if there were cracks in the heads around the exhaust valves. this is a direct quote from mr young "Yes I do and trying to sell them. No cracks. They are in good shape."
I unpacked the first head and checked the combustion chambers, immediately I saw this (its a cell phone camera but you can still see the 1" long crack very clearly)
The other head still has some carbon around the exh valve so I can't be for certain that its not cracked too. also a spark plug hole was poorly repaired and its missing a valve seat. would have been nice to know that before purchasing.
All I want is a refund and i'll send the heads back. _________________ http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y163/chucky1974/ninja.gif

Bret is a very nice man to communicate with. Het bought a heater from me and everything worked out fine. Shipment took a long time because of rules of the US coverment, so it was goïng with slow shipment overseas.
But he was patient and it turned out oke!

Positive experience throughout. Bret was quick to respond to my emails/questions and went to great lengths to package the item so it would be safe and sound. He did very well.
Thanks again Bret! _________________ Looking for a McKenzie Volkswagen License plate frame or dealer tag. |

I was looking to buy some door handles from Bret. I ask him a couple of questions and he wanted to take extra pictures to make sure they were what I wanted. Bret sent the pictures I requested and gave me plenty of time to make up my mind. Bret is a great guy that I would gladly deal with again.

Bret gave me a refund on a set of carbs even though the ad stated "no refunds, as-is". He was very honest and accommodating. Thanks, Bret! |

I bought a set of velocity stacks from Bret . The price was fair, $2 extra dollars added to the shipping charge (not excessive), and the parts arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I'm happy. _________________ My Spyder 550 build: http://www.thebouthilliers.com/spyder/ |

I recently purchased a Wagenswest Bolt-on IRS kit from Bret; arrived as advertised. Great communication throughout the process and timely shipping too. I would recommend buying or selling with Bret to anyone.

I had been looking for an A1 exhaust and came across one in the classified section. I reached out to Bret and he was really helpful in getting me an exhaust system. I can't thank him enough. Great guy to work with and his prices are better than I could find any where on the net. If you are looking for an A1 exhaust reach out to him. |
